“I qualified from Liverpool University in 1971 and have worked for the 608 ever since where I am now a Senior Partner. I started as a mixed veterinary surgeon but started work solely as a full time large animal vet in 1980. 90% of my time is involved with cattle work entailing all aspects which affect both dairy and beef health and productivity. I have regular involvement in second opinion cattle problems and I am involved in presenting CPD to veterinary surgeons coupled with guest presenting to veterinary students at both Liverpool and Bristol Universities. I regularly contribute to veterinary publications on cattle related topics including author of a book on cattle reproduction and a chapter in the 2nd edition of Bovine Medicine.”Extra qualifications include: Diploma in Bovine Reproduction from Liverpool University in 1987, Certificate in Cattle Health and Production from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in 1988, Diploma of European College of Bovine Health Management in 2006 and recognised as a European specialist in Bovine Herd Health Management in 2006.”

“I received a 1st class degree in BSc Veterinary Pathology from the Royal Veterinary College and went on to qualify as a veterinary surgeon at Liverpool Vet School. I joined the 608 in 2007 as a large animal veterinary surgeon and enjoy all aspects of the job but I have a keen interest in equine medicine and dentistry.”

“I studied a BSc in Equine Science between 1997 and 2000 at the Imperial College, Kent. I then went on to study to become a veterinary surgeon at the Royal Veterinary College, London, qualifying in 2006 and joined the 608 thereafter. I have trained as an Equine Acupuncturist and find this aspect of my job very interesting. I have a toy poodle called Izzy who comes everywhere with me.”

“I graduated as a veterinary surgeon from the University of Bristol in 1999 and continued onto a residency in Equine Internal Medicine at Leahurst, University of Liverpool and gained a Royal College Certificate in Equine Internal Medicine. I am currently studying towards a European Diploma in Equine Internal Medicine. I joined the 608 in 2006 and have a black Labrador called Guiness.”

“I joined the 608 in 1985 and went on to gain my Certificate in Veterinary Nursing in 1987 before being promoted to Head Nurse in 1989. I qualified as a LAY blood tester in 1993 and then as a nursing assessor in 2005. I now work mainly as a large animal nurse, especially cattle work.”
Angelina Keyte RVN
“I joined the 608 and study for my Certificate in Veterinary Nursing which I completed in 2008. Previous to this I studied a BTEC National Diploma in Animal Management at Solihull College. My strong interest in equine nursing led me to study a Certificate in Equine Anatomy and Physiology at Warwickshire College in 2009. At home I own a cat, a dog, fish, a ferret and a horse.”
